There are many people complaining about labor cost, and what you should pay to have something done in or outside of your house. I’m a contractor with 20 years in the home repair and remodeling business. The cost to have insurance, a license, tools, truck,van, gas, ads in the paper, or web page, and the side of your van. ( IS VERY COSTLY ). That’s just to walk out the front door. If you see a van roll up to your house with no lettering, he’s Latino, he will in most cases 90% of the time. HAVE ON INSURANCE, NO LICENSE, NO WEB PAGE, BUT HE HAS THE TOOLS AND THE KNOWHOW TO DO THE JOB. AT OR BELOW THE FAIR VALUE. THIS IS TO THE HOME OWNER WAKE UP1111111111111.. If one of these guys burns your house down, what will you do then??????????????? If he hurts someone on the job what then?????????????? If he never got a permit for the job what then???????????????? Your home is the biggest investment, but you the home owner treat it like a dog house. I hear it all the time. Your prices are to high. WELL LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT A DECK IN GARNER,NC Same thing happened, home owner was a cheap ass. The deck was a permit job, non was on sight, footers where not in code. ETC. ETC. Inspector shut it down. The cost the home owner paid to this cheap ass labor. 1500.00 Then I was call in to undo the FUCK UP. $2700 to make it into code. Total cost $4200.00 Well you save soooooo much money on price. Remember MR. Home owner your house is worth more than cheap prices and cheap LATINO labor.
